Global Macroeconomics, National Policies and the Financial System

The first objective of this course is to introduce a rich macroeconomic framework to better understand the current state of the economy, the drivers of business cycles and the policies used to manage them. The second is to provide an overview of the financial architecture of modern economies and its role in generating and propagating macro shocks. Throughout the course, we draw from current events, reflect on possible scenarios going forward and discuss the implications for managers and their organizations.
