Scholarship Preparation Workshop

ATEL 87023A
The workshop presents the main granting agency scholarship programs (SSHRC, NSERC, FRQSC, FRQNT and Mitacs) and private organizations and foundations. The rules and conditions of eligibility, evaluation criteria and procedures for the submission of applications will be presented. An overview of the "Scholarship Culture" will also be provided to help students understand the scope of scholarship applications and their links to the field of research. Subsequently, the students, through interactive activities, will work on concrete examples of documents that must be found in a scholarship application (eg academic CV, research proposal, letter of recommendation). In team, students will analyze and compare examples of documents to be included in the grant applications. During the third part of the workshop, they will be able to translate these achievements into their own application.
