To reach this aim, the course is divided into three stages. First, students take part in a pre-departure training to gain a basic understanding of the socioeconomic situation of the country. These activities may include seminars, conferences and workshops on the economic, political and cultural aspects of the country. Then, the group spends from one to three weeks in the destination country to gain hands-on experience of the business environment by meeting with workers, executives and representatives of government and parapublic organizations. On the last day of the course, students participate in a learning integration session that highlights the development of their learning.
Institutional participation fees as well as travel costs (e.g. accommodation, transport, activities and group meals) could be associated with this course.
