Climate Change and Strategic Management

As organizations' risks tied to climate change are ramping up and societal demand for action is skyrocketing, it has become a major strategic imperative for businesses to build business strategies in line with the principles of a green economy. This course is designed to help students become key actors in their organization's strategic process of adapting to this new reality. The course includes concrete examples of GHG emissions reduction initiatives, meetings with various stakeholders to better understand the issues and challenges, and an action plan based on creating value while staying within planetary limits. At the end of this course, students will be able to conduct a strategic analysis, develop an action plan, and implement strategic initiatives that give way to action.
