Over the past decades, technological changes have allowed an increasing in human population in our planet and elevated the living standards of several people. However, such economic development was not equally distributed. We saw the intensive use of natural resources and we have witness the emergence of numerous ethical scandals that have expose the dark side of the business world. In this context, the concepts of ethics and sustainability have become even more relevant for governments, industries and organizations. Organizations and managers are called to take action and act in a responsible and ethical way. This course is structured to address this reality and develop students' core knowledge and skills related to the role of organizations in promoting ethical and sustainable action and impact.
