Fundamental Theories in Human Resources & Industrial Relations

RHRT 80300A
This seminar is an ideal opportunity to reflect on the evolution of theoretical approaches in this field and industrial relations, and to assess the relevance and scope of these approaches. Starting from the observation that the study of work and employment is highly by national and continental specificities, the seminar also aims to identify points of convergence and divergence between different theoretical approaches. Such a perspective invites us to reject all forms of universalism and to insist on a plurality of values to understand the increasingly complex world of work and employment.

The evolution of Human Resource Management (HRM) and employment relations (ER) theories
The future directions of research in HRM and ER
