The seminar will be divided into three parts: Part 1 will be devoted to the examination of the most recent research on job satisfaction, psychological empowerment, and workplace commitment. Part 2 will deal with some key constructs that have been shown to play a central role in the development of job attitudes, namely perceived organizational support, organizational justice, and leader-member exchange. Part 3 will focus on the understanding and prediction of work behavior. More specifically, current models and research on employee turnover, organizational citizenship behavior, and service behavior will be reviewed.
