Implementation of digital technologies as well as their integration with the organization's existing systems requires not only input from those with technical skills, but also expertise in the management of these technologies. Taking a managerial perspective, this course teaches students the knowledge, abilities, and habits they need in order to ensure the IT ecosystem best supports business objectives. Managers must understand how to contribute to an organization's IT decisions in areas such as digital transformation and strategy, IT architecture and its evolution, IT governance, IT implementation, business intelligence and machine learning, and IT security. Managers also need to learn the management and operation of ERPs, which form the backbone of the IT ecosystem in most organizations.
