The macroeconomic environment of the firm

ECON 10804A
The course aims to familiarize the student with macroeconomic analysis. It aims for students to understand the economic theories that help explain productivity and standards of living, economic growth, inflation, unemployment, determination of interest rates, exchange rates and business cycles. The course will also allow students to know the instruments used by central banks and governments to stabilize the economy, and to know the impacts of monetary and fiscal policies on the economy.
