Management Skills

Management is a practical art that requires skills and abilities to intervene effectively. Managerial skills are based on three types of competencies: - Cognitive Competencies: These include the ability to understand management situations holistically, integrate different perspectives on these situations, and adopt a reflective approach to learn from experiences. - Technical Competencies: These involve experimenting with various means (theories, models, and management tools) to achieve organizational goals in real situations and adapting these means to specific contexts. - Social Competencies: These include the ability to guide, direct, influence, communicate, and foster engagement within teams. These competencies enable managers to formulate and implement interventions that ensure proper coordination of the collective.
