The course covers the main issues related to the planning and control of logistics systems, namely demand forecasting, inventory management, location, network design, transportation, supply chain management, and revenue management. It aims to provide the student with theoretical and practical knowledge to plan and execute the logistics activities of a company. For each of the topics, the focus is on the modeling and analysis of the problems encountered as well as the identification of the appropriate techniques to determine the solutions.
