Preparation for PMI Certification Exams

PROJ 50433A
This course is intended to help students who wish to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification exams, by teaching the core elements that will be evaluated during the exam administered by PMI. A minimum of 4,500 hours of project experience is required to register for the PMP exam, whereas there is no experience prerequisite for the CAPM exam. This course is not an introduction to project management. It is assumed that students already have a firm grasp of the concepts and tools of project management. Note that the certification exams are administered by PMI; it is up to students to register for and take these exams after completing the course.
