Continuous improvement via the Lean Six Sigma approach is a robust methodology, even a management philosophy, that sustains the competitive advantage of organizations. Processes - manufacturing, service or support - are the vectors of this value creation. Based on efficient and effective processes, this approach supports the achievement of strategic, tactical and operational objectives within an integrated management framework. It engages employees, supported by a rich toolbox and constant coaching. This course: - Explores the many facets of Lean Six Sigma management; - Provides an overview of the improvement and problem-solving tools and the contexts in which they are most appropriate; - Demonstrates the steps to take to improve a process and the challenges of an improvement approach; - Prepares students to integrate this management approach into their daily job or to act as consultants.
