Research Methods in International Business

METH 60013A
Its first objective is to present the most important tools and principles mobilized to carry out high quality research. By the end of this course, the students will be able to "read" academic literature in international business, qualitative and quantitative studies included. Its second objective is to allow students that are seeking to carry out a dissertation or a supervised project in international business to build a research project with rigor and confidence. By the end of this course, the students will be able to formulate a research question and to design a research strategy to address it. Most of the knowledge discussed for a dissertation are also important for a supervised project or for those who seek to follow a career as experts or consultants needing to produce high quality reports within their field of expertise.
