The essentials of the UX practice: key concepts, activities, roles, projects and deliverables.
Skills in user-centered ideation (design thinking), user interface (UI) design, prototyping, user testing, and data analysis (Web analytics, and qualitative and quantitative methods).
Special access to professors, researchers and experts who work in the most important UX lab in North America, Tech3Lab.
Emphasis on practical learning so you can quickly absorb the concepts and demonstrate your abilities. Each course presents you with challenges based on the latest research from Tech3lab.

This specialization offers only the thesis stream, for a total of 45 credits over a period of 16 to 24 months.

Thesis

Conditions and required documents

Select the system in which you completed your university studies or the Accelerated Admission option if you started or completed the graduate diploma at HEC Montréal related to the master's degree.

Estimated tuition fees

The amounts below are approximate. For the detailed amounts per credit or per term, see the tuition fee schedule (PDF, 109 Kb). These amounts do not include the cost of health insurance, course materials, housing, or other expenses.

Each term, you will receive a bill with the exact amount you owe based on your credit load.

To ensure the proper rate is applied, you may need to provide documents proving your legal status once you have been admitted.
